A year ago today, I had my bags packed with intentions on “just visiting”, everyone knew that wasn’t true. @frankrosati picked me up, drive me to the airport, and sadly sent me on my way. A few hours later, I walked through the terminal with @j_spaulding waiting for me at the end of it, I ran. We hugged and kissed and held shaky hands with eyes locked. (Even as we walked to baggage claim and to the car.) I saw the city and the superdome for the first time. We got to the house and I met all of the animals and had the most awesome first day here. Now it’s been a whole year. We’ve known each other for way longer and have been together for longer, but this has been my home since the moment I got here. I’m so thankful for this guy, for changing my life, taking care of me, loving me, making me laugh, and always putting me first. I couldn’t ask for a better human to share my life with and I’m beyond thankful for him. I love you, James. (Taken with Instagram)
